Projects

Projects of the Association embrace various areas connected to common Polish-Jewish history of Brzesko and vicinity. We are involved not only in commemoration of the past of our region, but also in Polish-Jewish dialogue; we cooperate with Jewish families of Brzesko origin in various countries, with Kraków Jewish community, schools and universities in USA and Israel.

22 Commemoration of the mass grave at the Jewish cemetery, 2017

In 2017, Aleksander Schwarz from the Rabbinical Commission for Jewish Cemeteries in Poland located 2 mass graves of Holocaust victims at the Brzesko Jewish cemetery. The first grave was commemorated with a proper monument in autumn 2017.
